Founded by 6th-degree Daniel Gracie Black Belt Professor David Floridia, Rudos Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is Orlando’s underground training room where complete beginners, parents, and kids share the royal blue Fuji mats with UFC veterans and WWE/NJPW world champions.
In Mexican Lucha Libre, the Rudos are the rule-breakers who refuse to stay inside polite sport boundaries. We teach traditional Gi Jiu-Jitsu alongside No-Gi submission grappling, catch wrestling, and Muay Thai kickboxing.

In Lucha Libre, the Rudos are the relentless rule-breakers. Our No-Gi room fuses Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Billy Robinson and Josh Barnett catch wrestling: neck cranks, toe holds, cradles, rides, and top-control finishes taught by UFC and WWE veterans.
High-output Muay Thai bag work, pad combinations, footwork, and clinch transitions led by UFC veteran Professor Matt Riddle and Professor David.

Founder and head professor of Rudos BJJ (formerly Daniel Gracie Orange County). After years grinding in the rooms of New York and Philadelphia under Daniel Gracie, Renzo Gracie, Rodrigo Gracie, Rolles Gracie, and Nino Schembri, David built Rudos in Orlando as a sanctuary where families, beginners, and world-famous combat athletes roll together with zero ego.
Orlando is the global capital of televised combat entertainment. When Olympic gold medalists, Pancrase pioneers, and WWE/NJPW champions want technical work without spectators or gym wars, they roll at Rudos.

I was a wrestler that had the age to compete again, but was always anxious about picking a new place to train. I made the resolution on my 30th birthday to put myself out there and sign up. Best decision ever! These coaches took me seriously as a competitor and trained me as such to prep me for a gold medal finish in no-gi competition in less than a year. As a mom I trust David with my kid. I do not trust anyone with my kid. My son was always in his room. Never into sports. David has been kind, patient and above all professional. I know WWE superstars train and even coach here, but that is a bonus. My husband and I agree, David is amazing! They really become a family! My kid trains every day because he loves it!
This school is amazing! It’s where my BJJ journey started, and I’m so grateful for it. I was on vacation checking out a bunch of gyms in the area and this was hands down the most welcoming out of all of them. Being fairly new to BJJ and a woman, I was slightly intimidated training in a new environment with new people but needed to continue my training. To say the least, I felt safe here. Professor David was welcoming and generous with his knowledge and does an amazing job at enforcing a sense of family and does not tolerate macho attitudes, no D-bags looking to beat you down. I have been training with Professor David for about a year now. He genuinely cares about his students and since I’ve been training I’ve already lost 20 pounds. Training Jiu Jitsu at RUDOS has been such a huge Blessing. I’m able to cope with all kinds of stress at my work a lot easier now. Jiu Jitsu teaches you how to be comfortable in UNCOMFORTABLE situations on the mat, which applies to the real world. Ever since I been training with Professor David, I have been at my best and joining the team was the best decision I’ve ever made.

I started my journey with Rudos April of 2023. The very first time I spoke with Professor David on the phone letting him know I was interested in joining he already treated me like family. That’s the big thing with this school from the moment you walk through those doors you instantly become family. The teachings aren’t just here is a bunch of moves and good luck after that. Every time I came in for a visit, I was always welcomed with open arms. Professor David is a LEGIT Black Belt under Daniel Gracie and is part of the Team Renzo Gracie Lineage. He has spent years learning under Rolles Gracie and Rodrigo Gracie as well. I mainly get private lessons that are self defense based and Professor David has a lot of patience with me because I am a novice. I mainly go to learn self defense when I am in Florida, because I travel there frequently for my work. I totally recommend RUDOS BJJ.
